Meet the Founder - Desa Weathers
Desa is a seasoned educator, educational consultant, author, and founder with over 25 years of experience shaping the lives of children, families, and fellow educators. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education with a concentration in Children’s Studies from Brooklyn College and a Master of Education in Counseling from Texas Southern University.
A certified EC–6 and ESL educator, Desa’s work bridges academic excellence with emotional intelligence. Her background in counseling uniquely equips her to nurture both the intellectual and social-emotional development of learners, ensuring that children are not only academically prepared, but confident, resilient, and seen.
Throughout her career, she has served as a classroom teacher, mentor, Early Childhood Education trainer, and educational leader. She is passionate about equipping educators with practical, research-informed strategies while empowering families to partner intentionally in their children’s growth.
Grounded in faith, driven by purpose, and guided by over two decades of experience, Desa believes education should build both intellect and identity. Through teaching, training, writing, and leadership, she continues to create learning environments where children thrive and educators feel inspired to lead with excellence.
